Kara Miller joined Virginia & Ambinder, LLP in 2010 and works at our Lower Manhattan offices. Kara represents workers in a wide variety of labor and employment matters on both an individual and class wide basis, including recovery of unpaid wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and state law, tip misappropriation, age, race, national origin, gender, disability, sexual orientation and religious discrimination, harassment and retaliation, and breach of contract. Kara is an experienced litigator in both state and federal court and has successfully represented clients at trial. Kara also provides consulting services regarding employment contracts and severance agreements.

Prior to joining Virginia & Ambinder, LLP, Kara was an associate in the New York City employment litigation practice group of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP where she assisted Fortune 500 companies on a variety of employment matters.

Kara graduated cum laude and with departmental honors from Vassar College in 2005. Kara graduated cum laude from Boston University School of Law in 2008 and was designated an Edward F. Hennessey Scholar for her academic achievements.
