Virginia & Ambinder, LLP is pleased to announce Leonor Coyle, Kara Miller, Nicole Marimon, and Jack Newhouse as the firm's newest partners.

Leonor Coyle joined the firm in 2009. For many years she has served as the principal consulting attorney for labor and employment law at numerous central and south American consulates throughout New York and New Jersey.  She has also been a guest speaker and/or panelist on issues including but not limited to, wage theft, prevailing wage laws, class action law suits, sexual harassment and discrimination at numerous not for profit agencies and educational institutions.

Kara Miller joined the firm in 2010. She serves as one of the firm's primary litigators in New Jersey and currently handles many of the firm's discrimination and sexual harassment matters. She is also on the board of several charitable projects affiliated with Memorial Sloan Kettering, providing pro-bono employment law guidance to assist cancer patients. 

Nicole Marimon joined the firm in 2015. She concentrates her practice in ERISA, labor, and employment litigation, representing unions and multi-employer benefit funds in ERISA collection actions.  

Jack Newhouse joined the firm in 2012. Jack, true to his name, handles a variety of the firms matters, from prevailing wage cases to discrimination and sexual harassment. Jack also does appellate work, and most recently argued successfully before the Appellate Division - First Department, overturning the trial court’s decision in the landmark case Desrosiers v. Perry Ellis Menswear, LLC. 

Leonor, Kara, Nicole, and Jack are outstanding lawyers and we are proud to have them be leaders on our team.
