New York Adopts New Lactation Accommodations Rights and Resources

The state of New York adopted new rules requiring employers to provide employees with lactation accommodations in the workplace. Employers are required to have a written lactation policy that meets requirements under the law and must provide it to all new employees.

The NYC Commission on Human Rights created model policies1:
