V&A’s partner LaDonna Lusher delivered a speech to home care workers at a rally. The speech came after a lawsuit was filed by the home health aids against the Department of Labor in State Supreme Court for the emergency issued order allowing health-care agencies to continue their practice of paying the attendants for only 13 hours a day. The rally took place on May 9, 2018.
