V&A proudly sponsored a High Level Side-Event to the United Nations 62nd Commission on the Status of Women, "Legal Frameworks for the Empowerment of Rural Women: Case Studies From Across the Sustainable Development Goals." The event focused on “Challenges and opportunities in achieving gender equality and the empowerment of rural women and girls.” It took place on March 15, 2018, at the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, 42 W 44th Street, New York, NY 10036.
