Leonor Hidalgo Coyle
Leonor Hidalgo Coyle joined Virginia & Ambinder, LLP as an associate in August 2009 and works at our Lower Manhattan offices. Leonor works on wage and hour class action litigation, specifically representing workers seeking to recover unpaid prevailing wages and supplemental benefits earned for work on publicly financed construction projects. She also represents workers seeking unpaid minimum wages and overtime compensation pursuant to State and Federal overtime laws.
Prior to joining Virginia & Ambinder, LLP, Leonor worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office. She has extensive courtroom experience, and has tried numerous bench and jury trials.
Leonor obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut and her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2006, where she received the Archibald R. Murray Cum Laude Award for her commitment to public service. Leonor is fluent in Spanish.
