LaDonna M. Lusher
LaDonna Lusher joined Virginia & Ambinder, LLP in June 2007 and works at our Lower Manhattan offices. Since her graduation from law school in 2004, LaDonna has practiced employment law and represented clients in a wide variety of labor matters, including class actions to recover unpaid wages and benefits, employment discrimination matters and employee discharge and discipline. LaDonna has litigated labor and employment law claims in both federal and state courts, including prevailing wage violations, FLSA violations, state wage and hour violations, discrimination, sexual harassment, breach of contract and other employment-related violations. LaDonna has additional experience in general commercial litigation and has helped recover unpaid benefit fund contributions on behalf of unions and their members.
Prior to joining Virginia & Ambinder, LLP, LaDonna worked as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Timothy E. Meredith of the Court of Special Appeals in Annapolis, Maryland.
LaDonna graduated with honors from West Virginia State University in 1997. LaDonna graduated magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2004, where she was inducted into the Heuisler Honor Society.
LaDonna is admitted to practice law in New York State Courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
