Kara Miller (formerly Belofsky)
Kara Miller joined Virginia & Ambinder, LLP in 2010 and works at our Lower Manhattan offices. Since her graduation from law school, Kara has practiced employment law and represented clients in a wide variety of labor and employment matters, including FLSA class actions, state wage and hour class actions, employment discrimination matters, employee discharge and discipline, breach of contract, and other employment-related matters. Kara represents workers seeking to recover unpaid prevailing and overtime wages and supplemental benefits earned for work on publicly financed construction projects. She has also performed work in connection with union benefit fund collection actions.
Kara graduated cum laude and with departmental honors from Vassar College. Kara graduated cum laude from Boston University School of Law.
Kara is admitted to practice law in New York State Courts, New Jersey State Courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
